McPherson 9C Volleyball Posts Strong Showing at Andale
Freshman squad captures two victories in three-match triangular competition
The McPherson 9C volleyball team delivered a solid performance at the Andale triangular, posting a 2-1 record with convincing victories over Circle and Wellington before falling to the host team.
The Bullpups opened strong with a hard-fought 25-18, 25-23 victory over Circle, demonstrating their ability to close out tight sets. They followed up with another impressive performance against Wellington, winning 25-14, 25-23 to improve to 2-0 on the day. The second set against Wellington proved to be another competitive battle, but McPherson showed poise in securing the victory.
The final match against Andale proved to be the most challenging, as the host team handed McPherson their lone loss of the tournament with a 25-23, 25-16 victory. The 2-1 record at the triangular provides valuable experience for the freshman squad as they continue to develop their skills and chemistry as a unit.
