McPherson 6th Grade Football Dominates Hutchinson 33-7

The McPherson 6th grade football team delivered a commanding performance against Hutchinson, cruising to a 33-7 victory behind a balanced offensive attack and improved defensive play.

Quarterback Isaac Reasoner orchestrated the offensive effort with multiple touchdown contributions, opening the scoring with a touchdown pass bomb to Kacen Kliewer. Reasoner later connected with Landon Dodge on an out route that saw Dodge break up the sideline for another scoring strike.

The ground game provided consistent production throughout the contest. Easton Werts powered his way into the end zone with a touchdown run, breaking several tackles along the way. Hayden Hicks delivered the most spectacular play of the day with a 60-yard touchdown run, breaking tackles and getting to the outside to find the end zone.

Landon Dodge capped off the scoring in style, returning a kickoff for a touchdown to complete the offensive showcase.

Defensively, McPherson bounced back from last week's performance with solid tackling and aggressive play across the field. Maddox Cullinane highlighted the defensive effort with an interception, while Bristyn Hancock turned in an outstanding overall defensive performance.

The comprehensive victory demonstrated the team's ability to execute in all three phases of the game, with contributions from multiple players on both sides of the ball. The defensive improvement and balanced offensive attack provide positive momentum as the young Bullpups continue their season.
