The McPherson 2nd grade football team lost to Hutchinson 26-6 despite some strong individual plays.
Maverick Collins connected with Drake Schropp on a 30-yard touchdown pass for McPherson's lone score. On defense, Bodie Christiansen and Noah Forester made key stops throughout the game.
The young Bullpups showed effort and fight against a tough opponent as they continue developing their skills this season.
