MCFC 2017 Girls Open Season with Mixed Results Against Sporting Wichita

WICHITA — The MCFC 2017 Girls soccer team opened their fall season with contrasting results against Sporting Wichita over the weekend, earning a dominant 9-0 victory in their first contest before falling 6-1 in the second game.

In the season opener, four different players found the net for MCFC, with Tia Adrian leading the way with three goals, while Tenley Fawl, Preslee Grant, and Rynnie Bunk each contributed two goals in the shutout win. The second game proved more challenging as the girls battled through hot conditions, managing only a single goal from Adrian despite the tough loss. The team is scheduled to return to action on September 6th as they continue their fall campaign.
