The 2014 MCFC boys soccer team demonstrated remarkable character Sunday, turning a frustrating performance into a commanding victory during their doubleheader.

Despite creating numerous scoring chances against the Raptors, MCFC managed just one goal from Cason Moore. Sam Walters and Jayce Unruh split goalkeeping duties in the narrow loss.

The team's fortunes changed dramatically in their second match against FC Wichita, where the offense exploded for five goals in a dominant win. Cason Adrian led the attack with two goals, while Cason Moore, Ridge Swanson, and Cole Sherwood each added single tallies.

Sam Walters and Josh Hughes shared goalkeeping duties and made several spectacular saves to preserve the victory.
