The McPherson FC 17' team posted a 1-1 record over the weekend, falling just short in a high-scoring affair against Newton before bouncing back with a convincing victory over Sporting Wichita 2017 Premier.

The weekend opened with a narrow 3-2 loss to Newton in a back-and-forth contest that showcased both teams' offensive capabilities. Tia Adrian and Preslee Grant found the back of the net for MCFC, but Newton managed to edge out the victory in the competitive matchup.

MCFC responded emphatically in their second match, dominating Sporting Wichita 2017 Premier 4-1 behind a balanced offensive attack. Tenley Fawl led the scoring with two goals, while Adrian and Grant each added single tallies to complete the offensive outburst.
