MOUNDRIDGE, Kan. — The Moundridge Community Foundation has awarded a $20,000 matching grant to the Moundridge Lions Club to jumpstart a $150,000 fundraising campaign for new playground equipment at Black Kettle East Park. The project will replace aging structures and be named in memory of Maddie Kaufman to honor her joyful spirit and lasting positive impact on the local community. The matching funds will double the value of community donations to help cover the immediate construction and long-term maintenance of the memorial playground.
