Marquette Man Arrested in Canton Bar Burglary

CANTON, Kan. — A 46-year-old Marquette man is facing multiple felony charges after his arrest in connection with a burglary at the Main Street Bar & Grill in Canton, the McPherson County Sheriff's Office announced Thursday.

Patrick Mark Hull, 5-foot-10 and 190 pounds, was taken into custody without incident at approximately 11:00 p.m. Wednesday at an address in Marquette after investigators, working with the Salina Police Department, identified him as one of two suspects in the break-in. He was booked into the McPherson County Jail at 11:07 p.m.

Hull faces three felony charges: two counts of burglary and one count of aggravated criminal damage exceeding $5,000. His combined bond was set at $10,000 cash/surety.

Surveillance images released by the Sheriff's Office show two masked individuals inside the bar during the burglary. One suspect is seen wearing a dark green top, jeans, and white shoes, with a visible lower-back tattoo. The second suspect appears in a black Jordan-brand hoodie with a face covering, jeans, and white shoes, and has a noticeably slimmer build.

Authorities say the investigation remains active as they work to identify the second individual. The Sheriff's Office is urging anyone with information — particularly anyone who may recognize the suspect in the black hoodie — to contact McPherson County Crime Stoppers.

Sheriff Jerry P. Montagne's office credited the Salina Police Department for its assistance in the case.
