MANHATTAN, KS — Manhattan-Ogden Unified School District 383 is geared up for the start of the 2025-26 academic year as families across the district as students and staff return to classrooms.

District Overview

Manhattan-Ogden USD 383 serves over 7,000 students from preschool through twelfth grade in the Manhattan and Ogden communities. The district continues to focus on its mission to prepare all students for success as lifelong learners, earners, and citizens, guided by core beliefs of acceptance, accountability, courage, joy, and trust.

Registration and Enrollment Updates

The district announced that it will not be enrolling any new out-of-district students for the 2025-26 school year, indicating strong enrollment from within the district boundaries. Parents and guardians must register students in grades K-12 online, with registration required for all students every year.

For kindergarten enrollment, students must be 5 years old on or before August 31 of the year in which they want to enroll. New students and kindergarteners are required to provide health assessment documentation and other required paperwork.

Special Programs

The district's Manhattan Virtual Academy continues to serve students grades 6-12 with online learning options. Enrollment for the virtual academy closed on August 8, 2025, or when maximum enrollment capacity is reached.

The district's first newsletter for the 2025-2026 school year will be sent the week of August 25, keeping families informed throughout the academic year.
