MANHATTAN, Kan. — The Manhattan High Indians delivered a dominant performance Friday night, crushing the Wichita Southeast Golden Buffaloes 46-6 in regional playoff action at home to improve their record to 8-2. The victory marked the Indians' fifth win in their last six contests and their seventh game this season decided by 30 points or more and showcasing a defensive prowess that has allowed just 11.2 points per game during their recent hot streak.

The loss snapped Wichita Southeast's four-game winning streak and ended the Golden Buffaloes' season at 7-3. Manhattan now advances to face the undefeated Maize Eagles (10-0) next week in sectional playoff action at Maize, where the Eagles are coming off a 58-34 victory over Wichita East on Friday night.
