Flint Hills Discovery Center Hosts 11th Annual ‘Meet the Makers’ The 11th annual "Meet the Makers" event will take place at the Flint Hills Discovery Center from Monday, March 16, through Friday, March 20, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily. Local creators will provide live demonstrations of crafts such as handweaving, henna body art, woodturning, quilting, and pottery. The atrium demonstrations are free and open to the public, though exploring the center's exhibits requires paying the general admission fee.

Sunset Zoo Transitions to Summer Hours Sunset Zoo will shift to its summer operating schedule beginning Friday, March 13. The facility will be open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m..

‘Grassland Mini-Golf’ Exhibit Ongoing The Flint Hills Discovery Center's interactive "Grassland Mini-Golf: 'Fore!' The Prairie" exhibit is currently open and will run through May 10.
