Main Street Trick-or-Treating, Optimist Club Halloween Carnival Set for Thursday
Family-friendly evening features safe trick-or-treating from 5:30-7 p.m., followed by free games and costume contests at Community Building
MCPHERSON — Downtown McPherson will transform into a Halloween haven on Thursday, October 23rd, as Main Street and the McPherson Optimist Club team up for an evening of family-friendly festivities.
The celebration kicks off with Trick or Treat on Main Street from 5:30-7:00 p.m., featuring participating local merchants along the downtown corridor. Businesses are welcome to participate regardless of their location.
Following trick-or-treating, families can head to the Community Building for the annual Halloween Carnival from 6-8 p.m. Admission and carnival games are completely free, with food and concessions available for purchase throughout the evening.
Costume contests will be held for three age groups: 0-2 years, 3-5 years, and 6 years and up, with prizes awarded to winners in each category.
