Local Historian to Share Cowley County Stories at Museum Event
ARKANSAS CITY, Kan. — The Cherokee Strip Land Rush Museum will host a "Lunch & Learn" event featuring local historian Bill Mueller on Jan. 15 from noon to 1 p.m.
Mueller will share stories about Cowley County history during the presentation, which includes a light lunch.
Tickets are $10 for the general public and $5 for museum members. The event will be held at the museum, located at 31639 U.S. Highway 77 in Arkansas City.

The Cherokee Strip Land Rush Museum preserves the history of the 1893 Cherokee Strip Land Run, one of the largest land runs in American history. The museum features exhibits on pioneer life, local history and the settlement of the region.
