Local Golf Tournament to Benefit Meals on Wheels
Community invited to support seniors through charity scramble event
McPherson, KS- The McPherson Country Club will host a charity golf tournament on Friday, September 12, with proceeds benefiting Meals on Wheels of McPherson. The 4-person scramble tournament will begin with check-in at 8:30 a.m., followed by a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Registration is $500 per foursome and includes 18 holes of golf, cart rental, and lunch. Trophies will be awarded to winners in two flights, with additional prizes for longest drive and closest to the pin competitions.
Space is limited for this community fundraising event that supports the vital meal delivery service for local seniors. The tournament is sponsored by several local businesses including Hefner Family Fireworks, Wise & Reber LC, The Lopata Family, Turkey Creek Ladies Golf Group, Kansas Secured Title, Peoples Bank and Trust, and Emprise Bank.
