Weber Solutions to revisit mill and overlay street project

LINDSBORG, Kan. — The Lindsborg City Council approved a $50,682 contract with Weber Solutions to conduct a mill and overlay project on East Union, West Green and North Washington streets. Public Works Director Denny Walker said Weber Solutions is returning to address concerns regarding the paving work performed last year on Union and Green streets. The city previously withheld full payment pending a resolution regarding the project's initial outcome, and the newly negotiated contract will address these issues while adding a new block on North Washington to the project.

Council approves mastic sealing project for city streets

LINDSBORG, Kan. — The Lindsborg City Council approved an $8,309 quote from Crafco Inc. for rental equipment and materials for a mastic sealing project. Public Works Director Denny Walker said mastic sealant — a polymer-modified asphalt mixture — can repair wider pavement gaps and supplement the city's standard crack-sealing efforts.
