Letters to the Editor

citizen journal publishes letters to the editor to allow for a healthy debate to proliferate via well thought-out arguments and good prose. If you want to submit a letter to the editor, you can! Note the following policies:

• Letters should be sent to opinion@citizenjournal.us.
• We ask that you keep letters under 500 words. We reserve the right to edit letters prior to publication.
• Letters reflect the views of their authors, not citizen journal. We may decline or fact-check letters that make factual claims about identifiable people.
• No personal attacks, name-calling, or threats.
• Please provide some way to get in contact with you, whether it's email or phone. We may choose to verify the identity of authors. Your contact info will stay private.
• Please provide your full name and location. We will publish these.
• We reserve the right not to publish any letter, for any reason.
