Lady Pups Fall to Hays 51-29 on Think Pink Night
McPherson Falls to 8-10 Despite Doile's 15 Points
The McPherson Lady Pups fell 51-29 to Hays on Think Pink night Monday at the Roundhouse. The Indians built a 27-7 halftime lead and maintained control throughout the second half.
Brooke Doile led McPherson with 15 points, while Karlie Cooper added five points and Jersey Alexander contributed three. The Lady Pups were outrebounded 33-24 in the contest.
Hays's Jenna Schmeidler led all scorers with 22 points, including four three-pointers. The loss drops McPherson to 8-10 on the season. The Lady Pups return to action Friday, February 13, when they host Buhler at the Roundhouse.
