Lady Bullpups Tie for Second at Wellington Invitational
Buschbom claims first career victory as McPherson shoots 354

The McPherson Lady Bullpups golf team delivered a strong performance at the Wellington Invitational, tying for second place with a team score of 354 on a course they had never played before. Senior Andi Buschbom led the way with her first career tournament victory, shooting a 75 to capture individual honors and cap off months of consistent work and dedication.
Fellow senior Brodie Kuhn continued her excellent season start with a tie for third place at 78, marking her third consecutive top-five finish. The Bullpups showed impressive resilience throughout the round, particularly battling back on the back nine after a challenging start. Pera Bauer finished 22nd with a 97, while junior Amelia Moody tied for 33rd at 104. Senior Leah Cahoone shot 109 to finish 42nd, and junior Addie French rounded out the scoring with a tie for 49th at 115. The team will look to build on this momentum when they host their home invitational on September 18 at Turkey Creek Golf Course, providing fans an opportunity to see the Lady Bullpups compete on familiar territory.
