Lady Bullpups Roll Past Wichita Collegiate

The McPherson High School girls basketball team put together a dominant performance Tuesday night against Wichita Collegiate, cruising to a 66-28 victory behind balanced scoring and red-hot shooting from beyond the arc.

The Lady Bullpups set the tone early, building a commanding 39-8 lead by halftime and never looking back. McPherson's offense clicked on all cylinders, connecting on 10 three-pointers as a team while spreading the scoring across the roster.

Maryn Sandbo led the way with 15 points, while Amarie Lowery added 10 to give McPherson two players in double figures. Piper Alvord chipped in 9 points, followed by Brooke Doile and Rylie Whitfield with 8 points apiece. Doile also controlled the glass with a team-high 10 rebounds for a double-double effort.

Jersey Alexander contributed 7 points, Caysen Blake added 5, and Karlie Cooper knocked down a three-pointer for 3 points. Audra Sandbo rounded out the scoring with 2 points while dishing out 4 assists.
