MANHATTAN, Kan. — Kansas State basketball has removed graduate assistant coach Mark Vital Jr. from all team responsibilities following his arrest early Monday morning on a domestic battery charge. Vital, 29, a former Baylor standout in his first season under head coach Jerome Tang, was arrested at 12:20 a.m. on the 600 block of Vattier Street, according to Riley County Police records. The university stated it will keep Vital removed from duties until the judicial process concludes, while his bond was set at $2,000 and he is not confined.
