Jackie Myers Trio to Headline August Third Thursday in Downtown Hutchinson

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Jackie Myers Trio will bring Kansas City jazz to downtown Hutchinson during the August Third Thursday event Wednesday at Sage River Coffee.

The free performance will run from 6 to 8 p.m. at Sage River Market, located at 2 S. Main St. The event is part of the monthly Third Thursday series organized by Downtown Hutchinson.

The Jackie Myers Trio specializes in jazz music and travels from Kansas City for the performance. The group promises to deliver what organizers call "the cool Kansas City jazz" to the heart of Hutchinson.

Third Thursday events are designed to showcase local and regional talent while drawing visitors to the downtown district. The series features various musical acts and entertainment throughout the year.
