Hutchinson YMCA opens new facility on donated land
The center features an aquatics center, an indoor track and a space-themed climbing structure
HUTCHINSON — The Hutchinson YMCA celebrated the grand opening of its new facility with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Built on land donated by the Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System, the state-of-the-art center features a destination aquatics center, an indoor track, an expanded gymnastics center and a space-themed climbing structure developed in collaboration with the Cosmosphere. The completed project represents a major community investment aimed at expanding youth development, healthy living opportunities and community connections for residents throughout Hutchinson and Reno County.
