Hutchinson woman arrested on attempted homicide, kidnapping charges

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A Hutchinson woman was taken into custody Thursday afternoon, April 9, after police responded to a disturbance at a local apartment complex that left one woman with severe injuries.
Officers with the Hutchinson Police Department were dispatched at approximately 2:26 p.m. to Commerce Gardens Apartments, 1801 Lyman Ave., where they found an adult female victim suffering from serious injuries. The victim was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Investigators identified Tori T. Randle, 45, of Hutchinson, as the suspect in the altercation. Officers located Randle in a nearby unit within the same apartment complex and took her into custody without incident.
Randle was booked on charges of attempted second-degree homicide, aggravated kidnapping and interference with law enforcement.
