Hutchinson Regional Medical Center Receives 20-Year Accreditation Recognition

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson Regional Medical Center's Ultrasound Department has been recognized by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission for maintaining 20 years of continuous accreditation in vascular testing.
The milestone recognizes the medical center's sustained commitment to high-quality patient care and diagnostic excellence in vascular imaging services.
The Intersocietal Accreditation Commission evaluates healthcare facilities' adherence to rigorous standards for vascular testing procedures, equipment maintenance and staff qualifications. Facilities must undergo regular reviews to maintain their accredited status.
Vascular testing uses ultrasound technology to examine blood flow and detect potential problems in arteries and veins throughout the body. The non-invasive diagnostic tool helps physicians identify conditions such as blood clots, arterial blockages and other circulatory issues.
Hutchinson Regional Medical Center is located at 1701 E. 23rd Ave. in Hutchinson. The hospital serves patients throughout central Kansas.
The Intersocietal Accreditation Commission, founded in 1990, provides accreditation services for cardiovascular and other medical imaging facilities across the United States.
