HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Public Library, in partnership with Clothed in Compassion, is hosting a Sensory Storytime series designed for children with varying sensory needs, with the next session scheduled for Saturday, March 21.

The program features small-group sessions, sensory-friendly activities, adaptive materials and sensory tools in a low-stress environment. Registration is required and group sizes are limited to maintain an accessible atmosphere for attendees.

Two age-specific sessions are offered at each event. Group 1, for children ages 2 to 5, runs from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Group 2, for children ages 6 to 10, runs from 11:15 to 11:45 a.m.

"What is Sensory Storytime? A welcoming, interactive environment specially designed for children with various sensory needs," the library stated in a Facebook post announcing the event.

Families can register through SignUpGenius at the link posted on the Hutchinson Public Library's Facebook page.
