Hutchinson Public Library Announces Baby Time Program and Author Event

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Public Library will offer expanded programming for families and book lovers this month, including additional baby time sessions and a virtual author event.
The library will host seven extra baby time opportunities before regular storytime programs begin in September. Sessions will run Monday through Tuesday, Aug. 18 through Sept. 9, at 11 a.m. in the Youth Services Activity Room.
The program targets babies birth to 18 months and includes songs, bubbles, books and social time for both babies and caregivers, according to library officials.
The library will also host New York Times bestselling author Casey McQuiston for a virtual event Wednesday, Aug. 20, at 6 p.m. McQuiston, author of "Red, White & Royal Blue" and "The Pairing," will discuss their latest romantic comedy about two bisexual exes who accidentally book the same European food and wine tour.
