Hutchinson Fire Department responds to false alarm on campus
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — All Hutchinson High School students and staff were safe and accounted for after a malfunctioning sensor triggered a building-wide fire alarm.
The false alarm prompted a swift emergency response from the Hutchinson Fire Department, but USD 308 administrators confirmed there was no actual fire or danger to the campus. District officials praised local firefighters for their rapid arrival to secure the school out of an abundance of caution.
