Hutchinson Community Foundation Hires Marketing Associate, Opens Grant Applications
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson Community Foundation has hired Meg Hilst as its marketing and development associate, the organization announced Monday.
Hilst joined the Community Foundation on Aug. 12 and will assist the communications and development team in implementing the foundation's communications and development strategy through marketing support and event coordination.
She comes to the Community Foundation after serving as community liaison at Hospice & HomeCare of Reno County, where she was responsible for general marketing and community relations. Hilst holds a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology from the University of Kansas and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration from Wichita State University. Originally from Shawnee, she and her husband live in Hutchinson.
Grant Applications Open
The foundation is accepting applications for its annual grant cycle for "The Gift to Dream," which will be open Aug. 18 through Sept. 12. The Community Foundation inspires philanthropy, leadership and collaboration to strengthen Reno County and create vibrant and resilient communities where every person has the opportunity to thrive.
One $2,500 grant will be awarded to a community benefit organization in Reno County that needs resources to imagine what more is possible beyond day-to-day operations. The foundation seeks organizations that need capacity to innovate, experiment and dream.
Applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, to be considered. The grant will be awarded by peers at Hutch CF's celebration event, UPLIFT 2025, on Thursday, Oct. 2, at the Reno County Farmers Market Pavilion. The grant is funded by the Fund for Reno County and given in honor of Hutch CF's Legacy Society.
