Hutchinson Community College invites public to 1-mile campus walking trail
The scenic loop features quarter-mile and half-mile distance markers for visitors
HUTCHINSON — Hutchinson Community College is inviting local residents to take advantage of the spring weather by exercising on the school's 1-mile walking trail. The open-air route, known as the Dragon Walking Trail, provides a peaceful spot for the community to stretch their legs and includes quarter-mile and half-mile markers for walkers who prefer shorter distances. College officials said Thursday that the campus is fully open to the public, encouraging visitors to grab a friend and get their daily steps in.
