Community meal sharing program opens January registration in Hutchinson
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The People’s Table, a community-led project operated by Hutch in Harmony and Wisdom in Motion, has opened registration for its January Community Cook & Share event. Children’s art workshop to celebrate Kansas artist Lester Raymer
The Hutchinson Art Center will host monthly children’s art projects on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026, led by artist and educator Beckie Vega. The make-and-take art classes are open to children ages 6 through 12 and will be divided into two groups: Group A from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

Hutchinson Zoo opens registration for 2026 youth camp programs
The Hutchinson Zoo has opened registration for its 2026 spring and summer camp programs, offering children hands-on experiences with wildlife and educational activities. The camps combine animal encounters, keeper presentations and creative activities designed to teach participants about wildlife conservation and natural habitats, according to a zoo announcement Friday.

Hutchinson Public Schools will host its fourth annual “PACK the SAC Kids Night” on Jan. 9, combining basketball competition with a community food drive benefiting the Food Bank of Reno County. The event, scheduled at Hutchinson High School, will feature five basketball games against Salina South throughout the evening.
