HutchCC recognizes inspiring teacher
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A Hutchinson Community College biology instructor has been named a finalist for the college's Dragon Educator of the Year award and recognized as one of this year's inspiring instructors.
Scott Romeiser, who joined the college's faculty in 2023, teaches biological sciences and holds a master's degree in biology and a bachelor's degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from Emporia State University.
Students have praised Romeiser's teaching methods and ability to explain complex scientific concepts. One student said he excels at "relaying complicated information in a way that helps you comprehend it," while another described him as the "best teacher ever" and cited his enthusiasm and teaching methods.
The recognition is part of HutchCC's ongoing program to highlight exceptional educators on campus.
