Hospital patients must download records before July portal shutdown
McPherson Center for Health will replace its MyCareCorner patient portal on July 1
MCPHERSON, Kan. — Patients at the 49-bed McPherson Center for Health have until July 1 to download their personal medical records from the MyCareCorner online portal before the facility transitions to a new electronic health record system. While the hospital will continue to securely maintain all official medical files, patients who want personal copies of their past lab results and visit summaries must save them before the current software is discontinued. The hospital is upgrading its network from CPSI to MEDITECH to provide enhanced communication and care coordination tools, according to Chief Operating Officer Charity Clark.
