Habitat for Humanity Thanks Community for Support on North Maple Build
Local businesses, churches, and volunteers provide meals and construction hours for 920 N. Maple project
McPherson Area Habitat for Humanity is expressing gratitude to the numerous businesses, churches, and individuals who have supported the current construction project at 920 North Maple. The organization has recognized both food donors who provided meals for volunteer builders and the dedicated construction volunteers who have contributed their time and expertise to the home build.
Local restaurants and businesses that provided food for volunteers include Walmart, Freddy's, McDonald's, Slim Chickens, JD's Kwik Burger, Craft Coffee, Dairy Queen, Dough Co. Donuts, Culligan of McPherson, and Tractor Supply Co. Financial institutions The Citizens State Bank and McPherson Prairie Land Realtors also contributed to feeding volunteers. Several local churches participated in the effort, including First United Methodist Church, First Congregational United Church of Christ, Bethany and Messiah Lutheran Youth Group-Lindsborg, and Presbyterian Church.
Individual donors who provided meals include Debbie Gieselman, Bill and Sandy Blair, Julie Vogts, Kassidy van der Hoeven, Jaymie Rothrock, Kristi Fowler, Ericka Lysell, Katie Walters, Richard Inman, and Beau Boughfman. McPherson Area Habitat for Humanity also extended thanks to all volunteers who have contributed construction hours to the project.
