Girls Swim Takes Third at Campus Meet
McPherson finishes third overall as Wiens posts two state-qualifying times.
HAYSVILLE, Kan. — The McPherson High School girls varsity swim team placed third out of 14 teams at the Campus High School meet, trailing only Derby and the Campus Colts.
Adyson Wiens led the Bullpups with a state-qualifying time of 2:27.58 in the 200 individual medley (fourth place) and a 59.22 in the 100 freestyle (third place). Ella Schrag added a runner-up finish in the 100 butterfly at 1:09.36 and took fourth in the 50 freestyle at 28.41, while Brinnley Robinson placed third in the 200 freestyle (2:33.35) and fifth in the 500 freestyle (5:59.47).
