Girls Soccer Varsity Draws, Clinches AVCTL Division 3/4 Title
McPherson finishes league play undefeated at 7-0 heading into postseason.
WICHITA, Kan. — The McPherson girls varsity soccer team played to a 0-0 draw at Wichita Trinity Academy on Thursday, closing out a perfect 7-0 AVCTL Division 3/4 regular season as league champions. Goalkeeper Ellie Herrera made 13 saves on 13 shots faced while the Bullpups generated nine shots on goal; the McPherson JV squad fell 0-1 in the nightcap. The team now turn their attention to postseason play next week.
