Girls Soccer: Salina South Edges McPherson Varsity
Audra Sandbo scores lone goal as Bullpups fall 2-1 at home.
MCPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson girls varsity soccer team fell 2-1 to Salina South on Thursday at McPherson High School. Audra Sandbo scored the lone goal for the Bullpups in the second half, while goalkeeper Ellie Herrera made four saves on the night as McPherson managed five shots on goal.
The McPherson JV squad fared better, earning a 2-0 shutout victory. Dragon Rodriguez scored off an assist from Leah Cahoone, and McKenna Paul added a goal with an assist from Savannah Dossett.
