Galva Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash at McPherson Intersection
65-year-old motorcyclist killed after colliding with turning SUV Saturday morning

MCPHERSON COUNTY — A 65-year-old Galva man died Saturday morning when his motorcycle collided with an SUV at the intersection of 22nd Avenue and Comanche Street in McPherson. Terrence "Terry" Regehr was pronounced dead at the scene despite lifesaving efforts by Moundridge EMS after his Honda motorcycle struck a GMC Acadia driven by 47-year-old Tawny O'Hara of Galva, who was uninjured. Sheriff's deputies responded to the 10:18 a.m. accident and determined that preliminary evidence indicates O'Hara was attempting a left turn onto Comanche when Regehr tried to pass and collided with the driver's side of her vehicle.
