Aviation and Aerospace:

• Senator Moran attended the groundbreaking for WSU Tech's new 85,000 square-foot National Center for Aviation Training (NCAT) facility, which will train the next generation of pilots and aviation technicians for the Air Capital of the World
• He visited Boeing's Seattle Delivery Center to discuss commercial airplane programs, particularly the 737, noting that Spirit AeroSystems manufactures 70% of the 737 in Wichita
• The newsletter celebrates National Aviation Day, highlighting Kansas's contribution of 75% of all general aviation aircraft

Border Security and Law Enforcement:

• Moran met with DEA Seattle Field Division leadership and toured the northern border by helicopter to observe enforcement challenges

Legislative Achievement:

• The FTC announced action against ticket scalpers under Moran's BOTS Act (signed in 2016), which targets software that creates bot accounts to bypass ticket purchasing limits
