Kayla Sawyer, a compliance officer, will present "Protect Yourself: Recognize, Prevent, and Report Fraud" at 3 p.m. in the Event Center. The notice says the session was arranged after residents asked for more information about scams reaching them through social media and phone calls, and that the talk will also cover text messages and other types of scams it describes as "just to name a few."
