Four McPherson Bullpup Wrestlers Punch Tickets to 4A State Tournament
Vance, McQueen, Dossett and Fairchild set to compete Feb. 27-28 in Salina
MCPHERSON, Kan. — Four McPherson High School girls wrestlers have qualified for the KSHSAA Class 4A State Wrestling Tournament, scheduled for Feb. 27-28 in Salina. Lily Vance (110 pounds), Kara McQueen (115), Amara Dossett (125) and Heidi Fairchild (170) will represent the Bullpups on the state stage after earning their way through regional competition. The four qualifiers give McPherson a strong presence across multiple weight classes as the program continues to grow in the expanding era of girls wrestling in Kansas.
