Flint Hills Discovery Center to Host Bison, Beef and Bourbon Fundraiser

MANHATTAN, Kan. — The Flint Hills Discovery Center Foundation will host its annual Bison, Beef and Bourbon fundraising event Oct. 23 at the Stanley Stout Center, featuring local cuisine, craft cocktails and live entertainment to support youth education programs.
The event, beginning at 6 p.m. at 2200 Denison Ave., will showcase signature cocktails made from Horse Soldier Bourbon and spirits from Boot Hill Distillery, Speedtrap Distillery and J. Rieger & Co., paired with regional hors d'oeuvres.
Attendees can expect bison and beef creations from Kite's Aggieville Drafthouse and craft beer from Radius Brewing in Emporia, along with complimentary wine from The Fridge. Live entertainment by Jeff Davidson will include cigar rolling demonstrations and performances by Ethereal Cigars throughout the evening.
A silent and live auction will feature unique and exclusive items, with guests able to participate through digital bidding via smartphones. Instructions for the Qtix platform will be provided via email after ticket purchase.
All proceeds will benefit the Flint Hills Discovery Center's youth education programs, with special emphasis this year on the Outdoor Classroom Renovation Project.
The event is limited to attendees 21 and older. Hard copy tickets are not required for entry.
