Five McPherson Bullpups Earn All-State Football Honors
Malm, Hoover Named to 4A First Team; Three Others Receive Recognition
MCPHERSON — McPherson High School's football program earned statewide recognition as five players were honored on the Kansas 4A All-State teams, with two Bullpups earning first-team selections.
Junior wide receiver Ashton Malm and sophomore kicker Jaxon Hoover were both named to the 4A First Team All-State Offense, representing the highest honor in Kansas high school football.
Three additional Bullpups earned honorable mention recognition for their contributions during the season:
- Dylan Hall, Jr. - Tackle: The junior lineman anchored the offensive and defensive line throughout the season.
- Carter Bengtson, Jr. - Quarterback: The junior signal-caller led the Bullpups' offense.
- Dane Becker, Jr. - Running Back: The junior running back provided a consistent ground game.
