Treg Fawl captured the McPherson Country Club Championship with a dominant performance, firing matching rounds of 68 to finish at 136 for the two-day event. Fawl's consistent play put him well ahead of runner-up Derek Burgan (82-72—154) and third-place finisher Brian Bengtson (75-80—155) in the Championship Flight. The 28-player field was divided into three flights based on handicap, with Fawl's steady play proving untouchable as he led from start to finish.

The First Flight saw Jeff Warren edge Zac Hoppes in a scorecard playoff after both golfers carded identical 160 totals. Warren shot consistent rounds of 80-80, while Hoppes posted 78-82, but Warren prevailed on the scorecard to claim the flight title. Brett Williams finished third at 164 (86-78). In the Second Flight, Chock Hefner's second-round 81 proved to be the difference as he won with a 171 total (90-81), finishing seven strokes ahead of Larry Bruce (90-88—178) and eight clear of Richard Baldwin (88-91—179).
