McPherson, KS- Downtown McPherson will come alive with the sound of music this September as the popular "Music on the Plaza" series returns for another season. The free outdoor concert series kicks off Wednesday, September 3, and will run every Wednesday through the month from noon to 1 p.m. at the corner of Main and Marlin.

The lineup promises something for everyone, featuring a diverse mix of local and regional talent. The series opens with Fallis/Stockham Syndrome on September 3, followed by Jake Gill on September 10. Amy Allmon will take the stage September 17, with Vegan Shark closing out the month on September 24.

Music on the Plaza is a perfect way to enjoy your lunch hour while supporting live music in our community. The midday timing makes it an ideal break for downtown workers, shoppers, and visitors looking to enjoy some entertainment in the heart of the city.

The concert series is sponsored by the City of McPherson Public Lands & Facilities Department, continuing their commitment to bringing cultural events to the downtown area. The outdoor venue provides a relaxed atmosphere where attendees can bring their lunch, grab a bite from nearby restaurants, or simply enjoy the music while taking in the changing fall scenery.

All concerts are weather permitting and free to the public.
