EVANSTON, Wyo. — Precision Earthworks, Inc., a Utah corporation, was officially awarded the contract for the Evanston Parks and Recreation Facility Rockery Slope Repair and Drainage Improvement Project. The Evanston City Council passed Resolution 26-19 after amending the contractor's legal name on the documents from a limited liability company to a corporation. Council members also clarified a $5,000 difference in the bidding documents, ensuring the final estimate was accurate before granting unanimous approval for the winning bid of $5,042.


Upcoming municipal election approaches

EVANSTON, Wyo. — Civic engagement is gearing up in Evanston as the candidate filing period for the upcoming municipal election closed on May 29. Open seats this election cycle include the mayoral seat and positions on the Evanston City Council. The primary election is scheduled for Aug. 18, 2026. New candidates are encouraged to study Wyoming state statute 15-1-103 to fully understand the legal duties and expectations of serving on the city council.
