McPherson wins 43-25 run after trailing 10-2; improves to 5-1 on season
The McPherson eighth grade boys basketball team found itself in an early hole Monday night but responded with a dominant performance, outscoring Wellington 41-15 the rest of the way en route to a 43-25 victory.
The Bullpups trailed 10-2 early before turning the game around with a suffocating defensive effort and improved offensive execution. McPherson's rally proved too much for Wellington to handle as the Bullpups cruised to their fifth win of the season against just one loss.
