Prescott, Pyle each score 13 points to lead dominant home victory
The Elyria Christian School Eagles girls basketball team dominated Centre 42-13 on Friday night, using a stifling defensive effort to secure the lopsided victory.
Prescott and Pyle led the Eagles with 13 points each, while Stone added 6 points in the win. Bower and Moody each contributed 3 points, and Anderson and Jader chipped in 2 points apiece. The Eagles built an 18-2 first-quarter lead and never looked back, holding Centre to just 17.2% shooting from the field. Pyle also dominated the boards with 10 rebounds, while Prescott added 4 steals to her scoring output.
The Eagles' defense forced 18 turnovers in the commanding 29-point victory.
