Eastbound lane of Fourth Avenue to close for railroad maintenance
Westbound traffic will not be affected by the two- to three-day project
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Eastbound drivers on Fourth Avenue will face a detour starting at 7 a.m. Monday as crews begin maintenance on the railroad crossing just east of Halstead Street. The project will close the eastbound lane for two to three days, routing traffic north to 11th Street and east to Airport Road to bypass the work zone, while westbound traffic will continue through the area as normal.
