Early Voting High for USD 418 School Bond Election

MCPHERSON, Kan. — Early voting in the USD 418 school bond election has drawn a high response, with approximately 601 advance ballots cast as of 10 a.m. Wednesday, according to the McPherson County Clerk's Office. Voters will decide March 3 on an $89.5 million, two-part bond proposal that would fund major high school renovations, secure elementary entrances and potentially convert Eisenhower Elementary into a new middle school — the district's fourth attempt at passing a bond after proposals failed in June 2021, May 2023 and November 2023.
