Summer sidewalk sale features costume contests, entertainment, and $500 shopping spree giveaway
MCPHERSON, Kan. —Downtown McPherson is preparing to transform into a rock and roll shopping paradise on July 11th as Main Street hosts "Rock the Block," a summer evening event combining sidewalk sales with entertainment and activities. The four-hour extravaganza, running from 4 to 8 p.m., will feature special deals from participating downtown merchants both inside their stores and along the sidewalks, creating an open-air shopping experience throughout the downtown district.
Beyond the bargain hunting, the event promises a full evening of family-friendly entertainment including games, live performances, and costume contests where attendees can show off their best rock-inspired outfits.
